Services
If you shave your head due to hair loss, SMP can fill in the top to complete the buzz cut look.
If your hair is thinning or see-through, SMP can add density by shading the scalp underneath, creating the appearance of fuller, thicker hair.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DOES IT TAKE?
It typically takes 3-4 sessions. (Included in total cost)
HOW LONG BETWEEN SESSIONS?
Sessions can be booked 7 days apart or longer.
WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?
a) Pay in full at first session
b) Split the cost into 3 payments over 3 sessions (0% interest)
WILL IT FADE?
After 3-5 years you will have the choice to have a quick touch up to maintain, or update your look. A touch up would cost approx. $500. (Every 3-5 years).
HOW LONG DOES EACH SESSION TAKE?
Each session takes approximately 1-2 hours, depending on the size of the area.
IS IT LIKE A REGULAR TATTOO?
Because the skin on the scalp is so thin, the impression is extremely shallow and delicate compared to tattooing on the thicker skin of the body.
IS IT PAINFUL?
The process is very gentle, some clients fall asleep and say it's relaxing. Some say it's a 2 out of 10 on a pain scale. Much less painful than a regular tattoo.
IS THERE RECOVERY TIME?
There is no bleeding, scabbing or scarring. You will feel back to normal just 20mins after the service.
WHAT IS THE AFTER CARE?
Detailed after care instructions will be provided. For best results, you will be advised to leave the treated area clean and dry for 3 days after the service, and then you can get back to your normal routine of shampooing, exercising etc.
WHAT TYPE OF PIGMENT DO YOU USE?
The pigment shade we use is customized for your hair and skin type. We use a vegan, carbon based black with a touch of modifier for soft, realistic, natural results that don't change colour over time.
WILL IT WORK ON GREY HAIR?
Yes. Many of our clients have grey or salt and pepper hair. Our pigment is grey scale so we can match your grey hair colour, or create depth under the hair and frame the face.
